Originals & Art Prints

Are the originals only available once?

Yes, each original is unique and only available once. You will receive it along with a certificate of authenticity.

What is an art print?

An art print is a reproduction of my artwork on high-quality paper. This allows you to enjoy my art even if the original is already sold. They are less expensive than the original and are also perfect for collecting, allowing you to build your own small art collection.

Do I also receive a certificate of authenticity for art prints?

A certificate of authenticity is only included with original works. All works are signed by me.

Where are all the artworks being sent to?

We currently ship to the EU, Switzerland, and the UK as standard. International shipping to other countries is available upon request. Shipping costs may vary depending on the country. Any customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

How long does shipping take?

All artworks – both originals and art prints – are carefully prepared after ordering.

The processing time is usually up to 2 weeks before your package is shipped. The delivery time depends on your location and may vary slightly depending on the shipping provider.

We ship via DHL by default. As soon as your artwork is on its way to you, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Can I return or exchange a piece of art?

Since originals are unique pieces, and commissioned art and art prints are individually produced works, returns and exchanges are excluded.

Do the art prints come framed?

No, not automatically . Depending on the product range, the art prints are available either unframed or framed. You can always find the exact information in the respective product description. Most of the time, however, they are unframed.

Commissioned art

How does a commissioned artwork process work?

First, you tell me your ideas – for example, the subject, size, medium, and desired mood ( see the commissioned artwork page ). We'll communicate regularly to ensure the artwork perfectly matches your wishes. I'll also show you some sketches. In the end, you'll receive your very own personalized artwork.

How long does the process take?

The processing time depends on the complexity and the number of projects I'm currently working on. On average, you can expect a processing time of approximately 2–3 weeks. Please plan accordingly, especially if it's intended as a gift. Shipping then usually takes 5–8 business days.

How does payment work for commissioned art?

After we've discussed the details, you'll receive a confirmation and an invoice from me with all the specifics. Payment is due in advance – conveniently via PayPal or bank transfer. Only then will I begin creating your personalized artwork.

How is the price calculated?

Works on high-quality paper are generally less expensive than those on canvas. The price always depends on the medium, size, subject matter, and level of detail. Before we begin, I'll provide you with a transparent and clear price estimate so you can plan with peace of mind.

Is there a right of return for commissioned art?

Since custom-made pieces are individually produced according to your wishes, returns or exchanges are unfortunately excluded .

All works by Lisa Dietel Art, including originals, commissioned art and art prints, are protected by copyright (§§ 2, 15 UrhG).
